The luxurious Stanhope Hotel, set in New York's most desirable neighborhood on the upper East Side, is only minutes from New York's bustling Midtown. Situated directly across from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and steps away from Central Park. The Stanhope, a Park Hyatt Hotel is the jewel of Fifth Avenue hotels, offering immediate access to the finest shops and art galleries. A longtime landmark on the Eastern perimeter of Central Park, the hotel was designed and built in 1926 by architect Rosario Candela in the tradition of intimate European luxury hotels. The Stanhope has 54 grand suites and 128 elegant deluxe rooms, including the world-famous Park and Museum Suites. Each room is spacious, and is decorated with handcrafted Louis XVI period furniture from France, collectible Chinoiserie, richly detailed fabrics, and original artwork.
